4. Cancellations and Refunds
a. Customer Cancellations
- Cancellations made 7 days or more before the tour date: 100% refund.
- Cancellations made 3 to 6 days before the tour: 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the tour: No refund.
b. Company Cancellations
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a tour due to weather, natural disasters, safety risks, or low participation.
- In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.
c. Refund Process
All refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.
5. Travel Requirements
- Participants are responsible for ensuring they meet all entry, visa, and health requirements for travel within Costa Rica.
- It is the participant’s responsibility to inform us of any medical conditions, dietary restrictions, or special needs at the time of booking.
6. Assumption of Risk
By booking a tour, you acknowledge that outdoor activities and wildlife encounters involve inherent risks. You agree to participate at your own risk and to follow all instructions provided by our guides. Tortuguero Tours Pura Vida is not liable for injuries, accidents, losses, or damages unless caused by proven negligence.
